Client: Jablan winery Montenegro, small winery producing organic wine

Details about the project

Problem: The main challenge in creating this concept was to combine an edgy, bold, colorful, and illustrative approach while maintaining an organic and luxurious vibe.

Solution: To highlight the luxury side of the brand, I designed a minimalistic typographic logo, which is common in the wine & spirits niche. It is unique, yet still connected to the category and competitors. To bring in the bold and edgy dimension, I created illustrations in a distinctive, colorful, and unconventional style. My inspiration came from motifs and scenes observed during my visit to Jablan’s vineyards. By incorporating animals and plants, I reinforced the organic story behind the brand. Altogether, this design feels original, expressive, artistic, and simultaneously luxurious and high-quality.

Result: Following the rebrand, Jablan increased wine sales by approximately 20% in next few months. The quirky labels and supporting materials successfully represent the brand and the people behind it. Of course, the quality of the products themselves also contributed to this success.
